To whom it may concern, My wife, Brittain Tripp, and myself have heard the In-N_Out Burger is planning on opening a new restaurant at Lost Rapids and Ten Mile. We live in the adjacent neighborhood Bainbridge. In the past year, or so, the traffic in this area appears to have doubled due to new recent subdivision developments and the traffic that Costco generates. Costco's parking lot ingress and egress is extremely overwhelmed with the current traffic it generates. In-N-Out Burger is widely known to produce an enormous amount of traffic on it's own and would shut down the Lost Rapids/Ten Mile intersection which is used for more than the businesses on the Costco lot. I anticipate the traffic from the new restaurant would double the traffic based on the other new stores in the Boise area as well as others in states adjacent to California. We are also very concerned about the traffic noise that will potentially be doubled. We intentionally did not move next to a freeway and believe this will be similar. The Bainbridge subdivision is a nice quiet place to live with exception to the traffic on Chiden. Lastly, we've heard that the restaurant is requesting to operate until 2am. This doesn't feel appropriate for the area. I do not believe there are any other restaurants open that late, but could be wrong. 2AM would be more appropriate in a downtown environment next to bars that are open that late. This is a complaint about the noise late at night the restaurant will generate. If the business is allowed to open up at this location, we would strongly encourage operating hours to be restricted to 10pm. Thank you, M. Andrew Tripp MAndrewTripp@Gmail.com 1
