Dear Planning and Zoning Commissioners,
I have been looking through the online public comment folder today. There are two very obvious things
that stand out:
1. The physical mailed-in letters that are all in favor are from residents that are within the boundary
of Ustick to McMillan and Linder to Locust Grove. This area was obviously targeted for a letter
writing campaign by perhaps door knockers paid for by In-N-Out. Notice not one letter like
those is from anyone that lives within the impacted neighborhood.
2. There are also some communications that appear to have come from within the city's own
website, through an online communication form. Notice also that those residents did not provide
where they live or they live far beyond the impacted neighborhood. One of those was from a
Nampa resident.
These all appear to be coordinated letter writing campaigns to create some sort of "grass roots" support
of In-N-Out. Please focus on the appeals from those that live in the area of the shopping center who will
be most impacted.
