Subject:Location of In and Out on Ten Mile

Recently, I was made aware of In-N-Out asking for permission to purchase land by Costco on Ten Mile in
Meridian. That location is already an accident waiting to happen every day! The traffic from Chinden
connecting with Ten Mile is overwhelmed by businesses, residential areas, and recreational areas at
Heros Park.
I drive this route almost every day and find it Challenging to get through without the threat of an
accident. Just the traffic in and out of the Costco parking lot is difficult because of all the turn lanes. As I
have watched other In-N-Out openings in the area, especially at the Village, I cannot in my wildest
dreams imagine where those lines of traffic are going to go when people wait in line to go to In-N-Out.
I urge the city of Meridian to consider a location that is not already impacted by an extraordinary amount
of traffic, neighborhoods, turn lanes and family activities. Adding In-N-Out would be a disaster waiting to
happen on our roadways. Please deny this request. Yes, I would love an In-N-Out on this side of town,
just at a more appropriate location!
