To Whom it May Concern:
This statement addresses Items number 12, 14, and 15 ofthe Contents of Conditional Use Application.
Item number 12: The subject property is desirable for the following reasons:
1. In 1997, I began operations of a homebased daycare at the above mentioned location. I maintained
this permit until 1999, when I opened my current preschool.
2. My current location is up for sale and because of many factors, I have chosen not to purchase the
property. My existing lease will expire no later than November 30, 2002.
3. Operating at my home, (on a temporary basis until such a time as I can secure a new building that
meets all requirements of the City of Meridian,) will guarantee care for 12 of my current students,
and will also guarantee the continued employment of 2 current staff members.
4. Operating in my home will also allow me sufficient time to continue my search for a new location.
At present, I am in negotiations with WH Moore Company on property located near Magic View. If
an agreement can not be reached with WH Moore Company on the Magic View property,
negotiations will probably continue on another site yet to be determined.
5. My home has a larger yard (which is fenced) than my current school, and is located near the back of
a cul-de-sac. The safety of the children is of concern in our current location because our play area is
located so close to Cherry Lane.
Item number 14:
I agree to pay any additional sewer, water or trash fees or charges, if any associated with the use of my
home.
Item number 15:
I agree to post that I have applied for a Conditional Use Permit. I agree to post this notice one week
prior to the Planning and Zoning meeting.
