We have lived In Bainbridge since 2019 and have thoroughly enjoyed our neighbors/neighborhood and being part of the Meridian community. The last 3-4 years have changed that feeling dramatically. Meridian has approved SO many neighborhoods and businesses that we are now surrounded by the noise and over population of our immediate area and understand there is more to come. In & Out Burger represents more of the same but to an even more disruptive degree! 1) Their proposal is to be open until 2am. The noise, lights and traffic until that hour of the morning will totally disrupt our family oriented community. It’s my understanding that Costco is not allowed to operate or have deliveries past 10pm which is reasonable. 2) Their customer flow information paid for and submitted by In&Out is not accurate because it does not reflect their operation in a residential or even semi-residential area. 3) The proposed traffic study that they paid for is definitely flawed. It only looks at the intersection of Lost Rapids and Ten Mile for 3 days in December. No one who witnessed the opening of In & Out at The Village and the constant traffic jams it caused could possibly believe their business (including drive-thru ordering) could possibly be contained within the proposed acreage. Obviously, this means traffic chaos for everyone trying to enter to go home within the Bainbridge community(and surrounding communities) and for anyone wishing to shop at Costco or any of the other current businesses at this location. 4) It’s also my understanding a proposal will be heard to add 270 homes to be built between Walmart and Bainbridge which can only add to the chaos in our area. In & Out Burger could propose locating anywhere within a couple miles radius that would not involve disrupting the wellbeing of such a large part of the Meridian population. Thank you for your consideration to stop this proposed site for In & Out on behalf of ours and the surrounding communities.
