Good afternoon, I live in the Bainbridge subdivision and have several concerns regarding the proposed location for In-And- Out off Ten Mile. I've witnessed several motor vehicle collisions and near misses to both vehicles and pedestrians on Ten Mile between Chinden and McMillan. Given the huge impact on traffic In-And-Out has had on Eagle Rd, if the Ten Mile location has even a fraction of that, I fear the increased risk to Meridian residents. Given the location of Hero's and Keith Bird parks and children's school routes in this area, the safety risk may particularly impact children. My understanding is that the customer flow information that is being used to determine appropriateness of this location is based on 10 California locations that are not in residential or semi-residential areas. That is not the case here. Similarly, utilizing a traffic study from 3 days in December does not accurately reflect what most of the year entails and in fact, likely represents outlier conditions of lower traffic. The majority of the year there are surges in traffic after work and school hours as well as weekends related to the use of Hero's and Keith Bird Park as well as Costco shoppers. In-And-Out operating until 2am would also increase noise, traffic, and light to our residential area and disturb the homeowners quality of life as we purchased homes expecting our neighborhood to protect us from these disturbances. There are many other close locations such as Chinden and Linder or Ten Mile and the freeway that appear much more appropriately equipped for the high traffic and customer flow without encroaching on existing neighborhoods or endangering residents and children. I strongly urge the city to consider other alternatives that don't cause hardship to its residents. Sarah Trued 3762 W. Vanderbilt Dr. Meridian, ID 83646 1
