SUBJECT: Recommendation in Support of In-N-Out Expansion in Meridian
Dear City of Meridian Planning and Zoning Board ,
I am writing to express my full support for In-N-Out's request to expand their restaurant chain in
the City of Meridian . Based on my experience with their recent establishment in Nampa , I
strongly believe their presence would be a positive addition to your community.
Several months ago, when In-N-Out opened in the City of Nampa , there were initial concerns
regarding traffic congestion at their chosen location in the Marketplace complex, one of the
busiest areas in our city. During the grand opening , I was impressed by their proactive and
collaborative approach . In-N -Out provided an outstanding traffic plan for local officials , worked
closely with the Nampa Police Department, and were extremely flexible to ensure traffic flowed
smoothly and minimize disruptions to surrounding businesses . The staff from In-N-Out was
outstanding to work with and stayed in constant communication , before, during and after the
restaurant's opening .
Having In-N-Out in our community has proven to be a valuable asset to the City of Nampa and
they have remained an engaged and responsible partner within our community. The
restaurant's operations have not required additional city resources. I personally appreciate their
presence in our community and have witnessed how they contribute positively to our city.
For these reasons, I strongly recommend you approve their request to open another location in
your City. I believe their expansion will bring the same benefits to your city.
