To whom it may concern: My name is Jackie Racolta. My address is 6008 N Vicenza Ave, Meridian, ID 83646. I am writing in concern to the In and Out restaurant proposal for Ten mile and Lost rapids. I have many concerns about this location as it is already a very busy area due to Costco. My biggest conercern first and foremost is about kids walking around in the area. Heroes park and Keith Byrd and big drawers of activities and there are many children around and I worry this will be very dangerous. My son also plays in the Meridian PALS program and during those seasons Heroes park is very cluttered with lots of traffic already between games. We usually walk to the park from our house and I am concerned for the safety of my kids and all kids in the program with the added traffic. Also as I will be very close to the restaurant living off of Lost Rapids, I am concerned about the late nights and increased traffic on the road. I have 2 small kids and I don't want them hearing cars until late in the night, since In and Out is open late as well as the lights from the cars. After seeing the constant stream of cars and long lines when the village location opened, I am wondering what would be the solution if a line forms? There is no where to route cars and they would clog up the Costco parking lot as well as the roads around the restaurant. There is not space like at the village to put cones to form lines. This spot is too small and too close to a residential neighborhood to be a good fit. There are plenty of unbuilt areas in Meridian that would properly suit the needs of this restaurant and this location is not it. Please be respectful of the kids in the area and give them their space to play. We don't need another fast food restaurant. We need our kids to be healthy and have the space to run and play without the worry of so much added traffic. Thank you for your time. 1
