Subject:Objection to In-N-Out at Ten Mile

We object to In-N-Out being placed at Ten Mile & Lost Rapids. It would adversely affect the traffic flows &
create accidents. During the hours when Costco and the other businesses are open, many vehicles try
to enter or leave a very narrow
roadway onto Lost Rapids. During lunch & dinner times, I have seen over 10 cars lined up on the roadway
trying to turn left onto Lost Rapids and blocking the right turn lane to Ten Mile. In addition, more cars try
to turn left from Ten Mile onto Lost Rapids than the turn lane can handle. This causes backups on Ten
Mile and dangerous left turns. Together with the church traffic directly across Lost Rapids, thete is not
enough room for even more cars on Lost Rapids. It will negatively impact public safety by delaying
access to a residential area. Finally, the existing businesses just north of this location will be adversely
impacted and may be forced to close. Other In-N-Out locations in Boise & Meridian are located in
commercial areas next to large mall parking, which have much more room and do not impact traffic on
the main thoroughfares.
Please do not allow In-N-Out to be exempt from any city regulations or to be located at this site.
