Lost Rapids External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. My wife and I are residents of Cadence at Bainbridge which is just down the street on W Lost Rapids/Tree Farm of the proposed site for In and Out Burger. The proposed location on the corner of Ten Mile and W Lost Rapids is the worst location that could have been chosen for this popular and loved fast food restaurant for many reasons. The Boise/Meridian communities are already experiencing growth problems with inadequate planning to address increased noise and traffic control in its communities. This establishment’s proposed location would only ADD to this area’s current congestion, neighborhood concerns, and safety. We go to Costco multiple times a week, and there is increasing congestion due to traffic. Adding In and Out Burgers to this area will only add to the traffic congestion and safety of our residents. The “Customer Flow” study that In and Out Burgers provided to you is flawed along with the inadequate “Traffic Study” conducted for the proposed location. Also, the proposed 270 housing development in this area will only add to the congestion and safety concerns of our communities. We request the Meridian Planning & Zoning commission to deny In and Out’s request to purchase and move forward with their proposed location at Ten Mile and W Lost Rapids for the fast food establishment.
