This Dell Draney, Cambridge Community home owner. I am responding to give my opinion
regarding an IN AND OUT BURGER restaurant that is planned near my new home.
I am greatly concerned for the value of my home. Three years ago, we made 5-trips from
Oregon to find ourselves a new retirement home here in the high desert. We picked a lot just
across Lost Rapids Road from this location where the restaurant is planning to locate.
With the HIGH TRAFFIC volume due to a Costco, several retailers and a few other fry
restaurants and a very large apartment house complex on that corner, we are experiencing
too much traffic now.
We have a neighbor who says they lived near an IN-N-OUT burger restaurant in their last
home and the constant smell of frying onions drove them nuts. Smelled like a county fair!
I have witnesses this restaurants DUAL LINES of cars rapped around their lots with their engines
running. How healthy can this be?
If an IN-N-OUT goes in that location, we will be moving out. Hopefully, before home property
values are affected. We would very much appreciate your consideration to move that
HIGH VOLUME - DRIVE UP restaurant to a more suitable location.
