Brian Anderson 4265 W Everest St Meridian, ID 83546 banderson317@comcast.net 206-423-4817 April, 15, 2025 Meridian City Council 33 E. Broadway Ave. Meridian, ID 83642 Dear Members of the Meridian City Council, I am writing to express concerns about the proposed In-N-Out Burger location at the corner of Ten Mile and Lost Rapids. While I understand the desire to bring new businesses to Meridian, I believe the current location will significantly impact the surrounding community. Traffic and Congestion: The area, already heavily trafficked by Costco customers, struggles with congestion, particularly during peak hours. Adding In-N-Out to the same lot would only worsen this issue, creating long drive-thru lines, safety concerns and increased vehicle traffic, further disrupting the area’s flow. Noise and Residential Impact: In-N-Out’s late-night hours and high traffic volume will add to the noise and activity in an already busy area. The proximity to residential neighborhoods makes this particularly concerning, as it could affect the peace and quality of life for nearby residents. Given these factors, I strongly urge In-N-Out to consider other locations with less residential impact and traffic congestion. There are several sites around Meridian that could better accommodate the increased traffic without disrupting the surrounding community. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, Brian Anderson 4265 W Everest St, Meridian, ID 83646 banderson317@comcast.net 1
