In regards to the upcoming P&Z meeting this week, which I will be attending, below are my issues with In
& Out Burger wanting to build at the Ten Mile & Lost Rapids location which I adamantly oppose.
Traffic is already extremely congested in this area with Costco & other stores, causing many accidents,
we've almost been hit by cars existing that shopping area multiple times on Lost Rapids. Kids walk the
sidewalk alongside that property & we've seen them almost get hit by exiting cars and that's without the
additional traffic INO would bring to this area, which would be substantial!!! Also, the smell, noise & light
pollution would be unbearable to residents. Honestly, I'm not interested in having another burger joint
anywhere near here but there are other areas that would be more appropriate to build, by Winco on
Chinden & Linder is one suggestion.
Seems that all their other locations in Idaho & evidently in other states, are not nestled in between
residential areas. This location is also an extremely small footprint as compared to their other locations.
I truly hope this does not get approved as the existence of that establishment would ruin the safety &
esthetics of the wonderful adjacent neighborhoods. This location is surrounded by residential properties,
parks & a church..Definitely not ideal! It's a hard NO for me!!!
