Hi there,
I wanted to write to voice my strong opposition to the In and Out being approved at the Lost
Rapids and Ten Mile intersection. I love In and Out and would love to have one nearby my
home, but that location is completely unsuitable for a variety of reasons.
- The fact that they are open till past midnight will increase traffic, light pollution and noise.
Not only from the I/O but also from the other business that will start receiving semi truck
shipments late into the night.
- The traffic increase at that intersection and along Lost Rapids will be terrible. Lost Rapids is
essentially a residential road, but putting an I/O there will basically result in it becoming a
commercial feeder. I appreciate that I/O has done some small traffic studies, but ultimately
the people that use that road multiple times a day are the best traffic study you are going to
have, and I can tell you that the traffic increase resulting from on I/O will be hugely negative.
There are a number of other suitable locations less than a mile from I/O's current proposed
location that would be better for everyone. Please don’t approve their zoning application
here.
