Subject:NO to In-n-Out on Lost Rapids/Ten Mile!

As residents of Meridian and the Bainbridge neighborhood, we are
deeply concerned about the proposed In-n-Out Burger on Lost
Rapids/Ten Mile.
1. The Lost Rapids/Ten Mile intersection is barely adequate to
handle the already heavy traffic flowing into the Bainbridge
neighborhood, Olivia Apartments, and Costco. Adding In-n-Out
traffic will overwhelm the intersection resulting in back-ups and
accidents on Ten Mile. Further, the 270 homes in the soon-to-be
built Adero Park neighborhood will only compound the above
situation, making it even worse.
2. There is no need for a restaurant in our quiet residential
neighborhood that stays open until 1-1:30am. The proposed late
night hours will bring unwanted noise, bothersome lights, and
unnecessary night traffic. It will also invite late night visitors and
potentially unlawful activities to Keith Bird Park.
Meridian balances being a family-friendly and a business-friendly city.
However, allowing this restaurant to be built in this location ignores
and harms the "family-friendly" environment and weighs too heavily
on the "business-friendly" environment.
