My husband and I live in the Bainbridge Cadence community off Lost Rapids. We are distressed at the
possibility of having an In & Out located on the corner of Ten Mile and Lost Rapids and shocked that the
proposal has not already been rejected.
Given the configuration of the plot of land within the shopping center and the limited traffic options that
already exist, our neighborhood is a poor fit for another high traffic business like In & Out.
Our neighborhood has a high concentration of aging adults (the Cadence 55+ community) and young
school age children (two bus stops morning and afternoon on Lost Rapids) that will be at higher risk with
the increased traffic that will be on Lost Rapids as it becomes a primary road to enter and exit the
proposed In & Out location.
Bottom line, if a timely and thorough traffic study had been done, this proposal would not be moving
forward. Furthermore, there are many better locations in Meridian for this high traffic business to pursue
such as along Ten Mile between Franklin and highway 84.
Please reconsider this proposal and do the right thing, choose neighborhood safety over monetary gain.
Sincerely,
Nancy and David D’Ambrosio
