We live in the Bainbridge subdivision in the section that has it entrance across from the Olivia
Apartments. We both work and drive the interstate to/from work.
When we are returning home, turning left from Ten Mile onto Lost Rapids, we must be very vigilant about
the traffic exiting from the Costco lot onto Lost Rapids. Many people assume that the traffic turning in
from Ten Mile will be making a right into the Costco shopping center and start to drive onto Lost Rapids
creating a danger for the traffic that is continuing straight and in our case, making a left onto N Calcutta.
Often, the people coming up behind us on Lost Rapids assume we are going straight and have to stop
short, or worse yet, swerve to the right to go around us as we are turning left.
These traffic hazards will be significantly multiplied should In ān Out be permitted to build on that
corner.
Additionally, on the weekends, the current volume of traffic is wound around itself trying to get in and out
of the Costco lot. How will the additional constant flow be able to enter the current flow of traffic without
further exacerbating what is already a bad situation?
A traffic impact grade of āEā is poor and in reality at peak times it will be an F. F for Failure.
There is so much land available near the Interstate where people could get easily on and off providing a
larger customer base for this business.
Why are we trying to squeeze them in where they are not welcome by many members of the community?
Please represent your constituency and not a corporation!
