Dear Meridian City Planning & Zoning Commission,
I strongly oppose the proposed In-N-Out at Ten Mile and Lost Rapids. While I support their presence in
Meridian, this location is completely inappropriate due to the following concerns:
• Traffic & Safety – A major increase in traffic will create serious safety risks near bus stops, a
neighborhood park, and residential streets. ACHD has confirmed there are no viable preemptive
solutions.
• Late-Night Disturbances – With hours extending to 2-3 AM, residents will face constant
noise, lights, and traffic disruptions. This also threatens existing limits on late-night semi-truck deliveries.
• Better Alternatives Exist – Moving just a block south or a mile east/west would resolve
these concerns while keeping In-N-Out in the same area.
The Bainbridge community survey found 80% of respondents oppose this location. I urge you to reject
this proposal and encourage In-N-Out to find a more suitable site.
