Hello,
I just want to voice a concern over the proposed In and Out restaurant being build near the
Meridian Costco.
M concern is the amount of traffic in and out brings. That parking lot is already difficult to
navigate certain times of the day. Traffic going in and out of Costco backs up and becomes
quite dangerous. I have seen many more accidents since Costco came in.
I am not opposed to In and Out in Meridian but I do think there are less congested areas for
it. Near Walmart just down 10 mile, there is all kinds of land for businesses to build that do not
have the congestion.
Also, the hours of operation is a concern. The apartments and near by neighborhood will
have noise late into the night.
I live in the Bainbridge neighborhood close to 10 mile. I already can not get into the turn lane
at times when traveling north to turn onto tree farm lane.
I think it is unwise for our city to allow a business with such a following to build in an area that
already has congestion.
We have cars cut through our neighborhood to get from Black Cat to Costco. Child safety is
also a concern as the cars often go fast. It isn’t a huge deal yet but I can see it becoming
one if In and Out is allowed to build in that lot.
