RE: Buffalo Hump, LLC I ACHD Right-of-Way Exchange
Dear Caleb,
Please find the attached application tor vacation ot ACHD public right-ot-way. The right-at-way
proposed to be vacated totals 11,329.79 sq. ft., and is located on the northwest corner of the
intersection of SW 5th Avenue and W. Corporate Drive in Meridian, Idaho.
Currently, the right-of-way is excess property on an ACHD detention pond site located adjacent
to and west of West Corporate Drive. ACHD designed and constructed the regional drainage
ponds back in the fall of 1999 on a portion of the pond site leaving the unused portion vacant.
ACHD staff has indicated that they will support the exchange of the unused portion of the
drainage pond site (right-of-way) for the right-of-way to construct SW 5th Avenue through the
West Corporate Drive, and West Corporate Drive through the Waltman Court Subdivision.
The proposed vacation will create a lot on the northwest corner of SW 5th Avenue and W.
Corporate Drive that the owner plans to develop as an overflow parking area for his business
across West Corporate Drive (Lots 1, 2, & 3; Block 2 of the Waltman Court Subdivision).
A neighborhood meeting was held on March 6, 2006, at 7:00 PM onsite. There were no
neighbors in attendance at the meeting (see attached sign-up sheet). Please contact me at
208.867.3954 if you should have any questions.
Sincerely,
