A RESOLUTION APPROVING IMPLEMENTATION OF ENFORCEMENT
PROCEDURES BY MERIDIAN CITY PERSONNEL RESPONSffiLE FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING CODE UTILIZING ISSUANCE
OF UNIFORM CITATIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, Meridian City personnel responsible for enforcement of the Planning and
Zoning Code are authorized by Idaho Code to directly issue uniform citations to offenders; and
WHEREAS, the ability to issue uniform citations is an important tool for enforcing the
Planning and Zoning Code.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section 1. The authority of code enforcement officers for the Planning and Zoning
Department to directly issue uniform citations is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 7~ day of
