I really appreciate the work you are doing to help those who are living in this beautiful area. The report from CR Engineering, INC has been received and ITD is in agreement with the findings. The trips that are created due to your development will impact the Interstate between Eagle and Meridian Road. In order to accommodate your development and the other developments in the area, an auxiliary lane between Meridian Road Interchange and Eagle Road Interchange is needed. I appreciate your contribution to the transportation system so we can help keep goods and services and the public moving at an efficient pace. As you are aware ITD offered to allow the use of the original TIS, but pointed out that if you had an engineer look at it again it would likely lead to a reduced proportionate share cost. The original proportionate share was$300k, but by trusting us and taking our advice the proportionate share was reduced to $145k. This comes to about$362 per unit. Attached is the technical analysis that was completed by the consultant. ITD will be working through the City of Meridian to collect the proportionate share. Thank you again for your partnership.
