It will be added to the public record for the Council's consideration. I hope you understand that we can not respond while there is a pending application. Sincerely, Tammy de Weerd, Mayor City of Meridian From: Steven Przybos (mailto:przybos.construction@hotmail.com] sent: Thu 1/18/2007 10:59 PM To: Tammy de Weerd; susankstone@hotmail.com Cc: Joe Borton; Keith Bird; Charlie Rountree Subject: South Ridge Subdivision Honorable Mayor and City Council Members, My name is Steve Przybos, I live at 2530 S Del Rey Lane in Val Vista Subdivision. I attended the meeting on Tuesday, January 16th. I would like to reiterate my concerns, I have the largest lot line (900 feet) abutting South Ridge. At this time I have a 180 degree view, which the county taxes me for. I would like to preserve somewhat of a view from my home. Would you consider 1 acre lots next to Val Vista for transition from rural to city? It would help to preserve the character of our neighborhood and help to protect my investment. I would like you to consider limiting the height of homes to be built to 22 feet from baseline of road, with 50 foot backyards. I would like to request a solid fence, along Val Vista Sub, that will stand the test of time. I would like the fence to be constructed prior to the start of construction, it would cut down on dust and serve as a sound wall. We enjoy our spring and summer days in our backyard and patio. I would like the stub road to be moved west and off the narrowest lot, this property is currently being marketed. I have no objections against this subdvision, I am uneasy with the mega lots, though. I hope they could be approved and developed as the master plan shows and their zoning and lot size remains consistent with this plan. One other concern I have is the realignment of Overland Road. I 1/19/2007 South Ridge Subdivision Page 2 of2 feel this huge change needs to be heavily researched by all governing bodies, (not just the developer). At ACHD's December meeting, which I attended, was the first time they were made aware of this proposed realignment of Overland Road and they haven't even studied this change. There are alot of variables to be considered. It impacts too many lives to be done on a whim. There needs to be much more public imput at ACHD's request. Furthermore, the Ten Mile Interchange has not been decided. I know some of this is repetitious, but this is my home and I stand to lose alot.
