Sonya,
We have one additional change to the Stonehill Crossing slides, which includes a current rendering of the building.
The attached PowerPoint slides also incorporate the new slide as mentioned in an email earlier today (Condition
#10).

Subject: RE: Stonehill Crossing Subdivision No. 1 (FP-2024-0020) -- PowerPoint
Sonya,
On 1/14, I sent you seven PowerPoint slides for tomorrow night’s Stonehill Crossing Subdivision No. 1 plat hearing.
We have since received feedback from the owner of the existing residence on the proposed Lot 2, Block 1 (Kent
and Donna Mills) regarding the cross-access easement for access to their property. They desire for the proposed
easement to be “permanent” rather than “temporary” for the reasons stated further below. As the Engineer of
1
Record, I am in full agreement with these reasons. Please see attached U PowerPoint slides (new Slide 8) along
with the proposed wording changes to Condition #10.
Current Condition #10
The ingress-egress easement depicted on Lot 1, Block 1 for the benefit of Lot 2, Block 1 shall be temporary until
such time as an alternate access is available for Lot 2 with development of the adjacent property; at such time, the
access easement shall terminate and the driveway on Lot 2 via Lot 1 shall be removed.
Proposed Revision to Condition #10
The ingress-egress easement depicted on Lot 1, Block 1 for the benefit of Lot 2, Block 1 shall be permanent due to
the following considerations:
(1) functionality of access via Lot 1, Block 1 private driveway (i.e., private church driveway at location of driveway
access to Lot 2, Block 1 will appear and function much like a public street);
(2) driveway access from the north is more conducive to location of existing garage and driveway located on Lot 2,
Block 1;
(3) the topography on east side of Lot 2, Block 1 (approximately 6.5 feet of elevation to overcome in a short
distance ~ 8% grade); and
(4) desire of owner of Lot 2, Block 1 for permanent access location via a driveway from the north.
Please give thoughtful consideration to this request during the presentation to Council. Feel free to reach out with
any comments or questions.
Thank you for all of your assistance along the way!
