The Planning Department is requesting that this project be continued until the February 15,2007
Commission meeting for the following reasons: ACHD ordered a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for this
development and additional time is needed for ACHD to analyze the information from the study and
prepare a report; City of Meridian Planning Staff will need additional time to review ACHD's report
for inclusion in the staff report. AClID has tentatively scheduled an evening meeting for January 21,
2007 to allow interested property owners an opportunity to testify on the proposed development and
is requesting that the City delay hearing the project until after this date. The first available
Commission meeting after the 24th is February 1'\ which is already quite full. The Planning
Department originally recommended in the staff report that the project be continued until January
18th but is now recommending the project be continued until the February 15th meeting.
