Thank you, Karen Ernest Ph. 208-631-7518 1 Re: Pollard North H-2024-0037 Good evening. My name is Karen Ernest. My husband Gary Panter and I own the property at 5456 Old School Lane. Directly to the west of us are Kyle and Jade Enzler and to the east are Bob and Bonnie Schwenkfelder. Directly to the south is the Brighton development under consideration. We oppose a zoning change to TNR and the plan that was submitted. In 2019, we received assurances from the City and Brighton that the area between Waverton and our property would remain R8 zoning, which is congruent with the zoning to the east. The proposed plan is not an appropriate transition from mixed use to our large approximately 5 Acre parcel or to low density in the future. The proposed zoning change is not in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of us or the community. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW A CHANGE IN ZONING FROM R-8 TO TN-R.
