Meridian City Council,
My name is Benjamin Grayson and we reside in the Fairborne Community, It has come to our
attention that Brighton Is requesting a rezone to add 80 more homes to the original
approved zoning of 99 homes. I am opposing this request and ask that you require Brighton
to honer the original zoning requirements. The addition of that many homes will be a burden
upon our community and resources. We purchased our home based on the information
Brighton originally had been approved for and if given the opportunity to increase the
population density it will have a major negative effect on our homes value in this community.
The Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission has already denied this request in a vote of 5-
1. The Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission is there for a reason and understands that
this request should not be approved. Thank you for your time. Please include these
comments in the public testimony.
