FY25 RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT OF LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
ADA COUNTY AND THE MERIDIAN POLICE DEPARTMENT
This RENEWAL AND AMENDMENT OF LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
ADA COUNTY AND THE MERIDIAN POLICE DEPARTMENT ("Renewal Lease
Agreement") is entered into this , by and between Ada County, a
duly formed and existing county pursuant to the laws and Constitution of the State of Idaho
("County"), and the City of Meridian, a municipal corporation duly formed and existing pursuant
to Idaho law, by and through the Meridian Police Department (herein referred to as "Licensee")
for a license to occupy and use portions of real property described and referred to as the "Work
Space." County and Licensee may be referred to individually as "Parry" or collectively as the
"Parties."
RECITALS:
WHEREAS, County has constitutional and statutory duties and responsibilities to assist
the victims of crime, including victims of child abuse, elder abuse, adult sexual assault, and
domestic violence("Victims"); and
WHEREAS, County believes that co-location of the providers of Victim services in one
place will reduce the suffering of these Victims,provide services to them more effectively, and is
beneficial to the health, safety and welfare of these Victims; and
WHEREAS, County owns certain real property located at 417 S. 6th Street, Boise, Idaho
83702 ("Property"), a portion of which is devoted to meeting the needs of Victims ("Ada County
Victim Services Center");and
WHEREAS, Licensee is equipped and capable of providing law enforcement services

("Licensee's Services")to some or all of these Victims at the Ada County Victim Services Center;
and
WHEREAS, Licensee and County entered into Agreement No. 15543 on January 2,
2024,for a license to the Property("Agreement No. 15543"); and
WHEREAS,Agreement No. 15543 provided that the Parties could renew Agreement No.
15543, for additional one-year terms, through a mutually executed writing between the Parties;
and
WHEREAS, the Parties now wish to renew and amend Agreement No. 15543 for an
additional one-year term; and
NOW,THEREFORE,it is mutually agreed upon by and between the Parties hereto:
I.
That Agreement No. 15543,as amended,shall be renewed for the period from October
1, 2024,to and including September 30, 2025.
II.
That Agreement No. 15543 is amended to replace Licensor's Representative with Executive
Director,Ada County Victim Services Center,417 S.6'St.,Boise,ID 83702,and amended to reflect
the change in name at the 417 S. 61' Street, Boise Idaho, 83702 ("Property") from"FACES Victim
Center"to"Ada County Victim Services Center."
III.
It is further agreed that each and every outstanding or unfulfilled term and condition
contained within that certain agreement is incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the Parties have executed this Renewal License Agreement as
set forth above.
