am making the submittal of a short plat for the split of the lot at 2945 W. Ustick Rd., Meridian. As part of the
application, I need to submit a fire department approval letter. Attached is the proposed plat,which will split the
existing lot into 2 lots, and will close the access from Ustick Rd. and have access from Morello Ave.to the
south. There will be no public roadway extension in to the property, but we will construct a fire department
hammerhead on the site (essentially the shared driveway for the 2 lots)that will support fire department apparatus
and be designed to be an IFC compliant hammerhead. The attached plat shows that easement area, but we will
adjust accordingly to ensure that the existing home and future home to be constructed on the new lot meet the
standards of no more than 150'from the turnaround. Please let me know if you have questions or need anything
additional to provide the approval letter that is requested with the application checklist.
