This memo is to recap the meeting we had last week regarding the future development of our
25.8 acres that lays East of the proposed Jakel' Tree Farm project. Our concern lies in the access
points currently proposed in the Jayker Tree Farm preliminary plan.
We are in the process of completing the Meridian City annexation application and working with
an engineer to design an overlay with a plan showing one access to the West and one to the
North of our properties boundaries as currently proposed. We plan to also have a preliminary
plan drawn, which would have two accesses to the West in addition to the North access.
The main objective being to connect the two developments in the most user friendly as well as
economic means as possible.
We plan to have a preliminary design to provide the Meridian City Council at the December 21,
2006 P&Z meeting for their consideration. If this meeting is rescheduled, please notify me.
Cunently, this land is in the Meridian area of impact with a low.density designation. When we
apply for annexation it may be in the best & highest use of the land abutting Chinden to be of a
medium density then going to a lower density to the North and East of the property. We would
like to have the density issue up for conversation and consideration as well: Is there afoJ"mal

bring these questions and issues to the attention of the city council members? If so, please
advise.
