The Special City Council meeting of the Meridia'n City Council was called to order
on Tuesday, August 21, 2000, at 4:15 p.m,. by Mayor Robert D. Corrie.
Members Present: Robert Corrie, Cherie McCandless, Ron Anderson, Keith
Bird, Tammy deWe~rd.

Others Present: Eric Rossman, David Swartley, Bill Gordon, Will Berg.
Corrie: I'll call the Special meeting of the Meridian City Council at 4: 15 p.m. This
is to hold an Executive Session which is closed to the public in accordance with
Idaho State Code 67-2345(b). Roll-call, Mr. Clerk. Okay, all present. I'll
entertain a motion for Executive Session.
Bird: Mr. Mayor, I move that we go into an Executive Session in accordance with
Idaho State Code 67 -2345(b ). '
deWeerd: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to go into Executive Session according to
the State Code, subsection B. Any further discussion? Hearing none, all those
in favor of the motion say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Corrie: "II entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Bird: So moved.
deWeerd: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to come out of Executive Session. All those
in favor of the motion say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Corrie: Nothing was decided in the Executive Session at this point. I'll entertain
a motion to close the special session at 10 minutes to 6:00.
Bird: So moved.
Anderson: Second.
