Corrie. Members present: Robert Corrie, Keith Bird, Cherie McCandless, Tammy deWeerd, Ron Anderson. Others Present: Wade Larsen, Bill Nichols, Pauline Skaggs, Will Berg Corrie: Okay, we'll open the City Council special meeting on Thursday, August 24, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. where the City Council is to hold an Executive Session. Roll-call vote, please, Mr. Clerk - well, let the record show that everyone is here including the attorney and Wade from lEe. With that, I'll open the meeting and entertain a motion to go into Executive Session according to City Code Section 67-2345(b). Bird: So moved. McCandless: Second. Corrie: Motion made and seconded to go into Executive Session. All those in favor say aye. MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES Corrie: Okay, we are coming out of Executive Session; I'll entertain a motion to do so. Bird: So moved. McCandless: Second. CITY OF MERIDIAN GENERATIONS PLAZA PHASE 2 INVITATION TO BID Sealed Bids for GENERATIONS PLAZA PHASE 2 will be received by the City Clerk of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, the Owner, at the City Hall Building located at 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, until 3:00 p.m., prevailing local time, September 15, 2000, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The work includes construction of concrete 'and masonry columns, concrete flat work, concrete planters and pavers. Associated plumbing, electrical and architectural finish work is also included. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at Idaho Blueprints located at 619 Main Street, Boise, Idaho, after August 29,2000, upon payment of $25.00 (non-refundable) for each set. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form and each Bidder must include with the Bid a Bid Security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The City of Meridian reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids and to postpone the award on the Contract not more than sixty (60) days from the bid opening date, and to award the contract, if awarded, based on the best interests of the City.
