RE: Public Testimony for Baratza Subdivision H-2024-0016 for the 12/3/2024 City Council Meeting
Honorable Mayor and City Council of Meridian, ID,
I ask that you reject approval of Baratza Subdivision H-2024-0016.
The intersection of McMillan and Black along with the needed road widening needs to be built to ACHD and Idaho
State transportation plans BEFORE this subdivision project starts.
The intersection is now a dangerous 4-way stop. The traffic is backed up everyday and drivers struggle to negotiate
it NOW.
A 5-10 year waiting period to solve this traffic snarl should be unacceptable to our City.
I can’t imagine how bad this intersection would become with another 347 homes using it daily.
