Dear Kristen,
This is in response to the relinquishment request submitted to Idaho Power Company and
received in our office October 11, 2021, regarding the possible partial relinquishment of a public
utility easement (PUE) located as noted above. The attached Exhibit A & B more specifically
identifies the requested area for relinquishment.
Idaho Power's review of your request indicated that we do not have facilities located within the
requested area. As such, Idaho Power agrees to partially relinquish our interest in the PUE that is
located between lots 2 & 3 of the Medina Subdivision, as shown in the attached exhibits.
Thank you once again for providing Idaho Power Company the opportunity to review and
comment upon the subject petition for relinquishment.

Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District has no owned or operated facilities in this area and therefore do not claim any

Hi Greg,
A bit of background...
The Epic Shine is constructed and operating. A property boundary adjustment was processed and recorded in
2021. A letter was sent to Century Link in September of 2021 (attached) but we didn't receive a reply. The City
ultimately refunded our vacation application fee (incorrectly)and the vacation wasn't ever processed. We are now
trying to finalize a vacation that should have been processed a few years ago.

determined that it has no obligations with the respect to the changes proposed as shown and/or
described for the property on Exhibit"A", said Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by this
reference. Because this request will not conflict with existing buried facilities, CenturyLink/Lumen has no
objections to the public easement vacation request where CTL/Lumen Facilities are not present.
It is the intent and understanding of CenturyLink that this does not reduce our rights to any other
existing easement or rights we have on this site or in the area. Please ensure that locates are performed
prior to construction.
This response is submitted WITH THE STIPULATION that if CenturyLink facilities are found and/or
damaged within the area described,the Applicant will bear the cost of relocation and repair of said
facilities.

An easement lying 5.00 feet north and south of the following described centerline, located in a portion
of Lot 2 and Lot 3, Block 1 of Medina Subdivision, as same is shown on the Plat thereof, recorded in Book
100 of Plats at Page 12948 of Ada County Records, being located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 24,
Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, City of Meridian,Ada County Idaho, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the West lot corner common to Lot 2 and Lot 3, Block 1 of said Medina Subdivision;
Thence North 90°00'00" East, a distance of 10.00 feet on the lot line common to said Lots 2 and 3 to the
POINT OF BEGINNING;
