BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER, LITTLE ROBERTS, OVERTON,
STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK
A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING BLAINE JOHNSTON TO SEAT 2 AND HEATHER
GIACOMO TO SEAT 7 OF THE MERIDIAN HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code Section 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Historic
Preservation Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems it to be in the best interest
of the citizens of the City of Meridian to approve the reappointment of Blaine Johnston to Seat 2
and Heather Giacomo to Seat 7 of the Meridian Historic Preservation Commission as
recommended by Mayor Simison and described herein;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY,IDAHO:
Section 1. That, effective November 1, 2024, Blaine Johnston be reappointed to Seat 2
and Heather Giacomo be reappointed to Seat 7 of the Meridian Historic Preservation Commission,
which terms shall expire October 31, 2027.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect as of November 1, 2024.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 151h day of October,
2024.
