Dear Council Members:
My name is Allison Rice. My family and I live in the Bridgetower West community north of the proposed project area. I
would like to formally echo the comments regarding the proposed project, submitted to your office on 10/2/24 by
another Bridgetower West Resident, Craig Bock. Our family also has a child that attends Pleasant View Elementary
School and our family uses the surrounding transportation network of roads choked by ongoing construction and new
residents.
Should the project proceed forward, my added concern includes air quality. I request that the developer and their
engineering and construction contractor prepare a Fugitive Dust Control plan for construction. Measures or best
management practices specifically requested include the following:
Stabilization of construction entrances to minimize sediment track out onto the paved roads
Regular Use of water trucks using reclaimed water to stabilize soils and minimize dust during active construction
Covering of open haul vehicles carrying soils and secured covering of all topsoil piles
A posting at the construction site entrance with project contact if fugitive dust is an ongoing observation and issue for
the adjacent community
Minimizing construction ingress and egress to the project site during peak rush hour traffic times.
Sincerely,
Allison Rice
