Hello,
My name is Margie Reno and I live at 3497 W Ladle Rapids St in the Bainbridge Subdivision near where these apartment
building are being proposed.
My concern is with all the traffic. That area already has trouble handling the current traffic. We have a lot of cars cut
through our subdivision to get to Costco in an effort to bypass the Chinden/Black Cat intersection and I fear that will
only get worse. At rush hours the traffic backs up for quite a while and it is nearly impossible to get onto Black Cat from
the neighborhood.
The addition of so many apartments in the area, Costco, and talk of In and Out, our community cannot support so much
traffic.
There are safety concerns with kids out playing, people riding their bikes, kids walking to or from Pleasant View
Elementary, our community is getting less safe all the time with the cut through traffic.
I urge you to not allow more apartments in our area of Meridian but especially not at that intersection. There are
already a large set of apartments across the street sharing the Chinden/Black Cat intersection.
