Mr. Whitlock,
It has come to my attention that the corner of Black Cat & McMillan was originally Jamestown Ranch with 294 Homes.
The land has since been sold to Lennar Homes and they are submitting a new proposal with an increase to 347 homes!
There will be a City of Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission meeting on October 3rd, 2024 regarding this proposal.
I am in opposition to the proposed development, Baratza Subdivision H-2024-0016 located at N. Black Cat Road and W.
McMillian Road. I feel that this development proposal is in direct conflict with the goals of the City of Meridian, as
outlined in the Comprehensive City Plan of 2019. I urge the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council to deny
this proposed development and any request for higher density rezoning for this development.
