thoughts and comments with us. As you may be aware, the City does not determine which food service or business
locates at a property, the City regulates the land use of various properties and businesses decide to locate at given sites
or areas based on market conditions. That said, we take public feedback seriously and want you to know that we have
received your email and have read your comments.
Because this project is part of an open application, the Mayor and City Council members are prohibited from
commenting outside of the public hearing. To that, your email has been forwarded to our City Clerk and will be included
in the public record. We invite you to check the City’s website, meridiancity.org, for any upcoming public hearing notices
and additional information regarding the development.

Question/Comment: Please do not all the McDonalds on S Eagle Rd and Amity H-2024-0044. Putting a McDonalds in
there would make this beautiful area feel trashy and cheap. It would also increase traffic and noise for the Tuscany
subdivision. McDonald’s is so unhealthy and would be horrible for the youth and families in the area. Fast food
restaurants should not be allowed in this area. Please contact me. I would really like to help find healthier and more
family friendly options for this area of Meridian. We have lived in this exact area for 14 years and a McDonald’s going in
would make us want to move. Please don’t ruin this wonderful neighborhood.
