1E, Section 31. 1 can honor this reservation only as long as your project is in the approval process. Final approval can
only take place when the final plat is recorded.

Good morning Laren,
Zach forwarded me your appeal of the name "Skyranch", so I had Frank do a more in depth search on the web this
morning. It looks like he has come up with several instances where "Skyranch" has been used as a proper name, mostly
associated with small private airports. Based on this I will have Frank put together an approval email and get that sent
out a little later today.
Our office will plan to do more in depth research on name submittals in the future.Also if you have specific examples of
a proposed sub. name that have been used as proper name that you can included in your submittals, it would be greatly
appreciated.

I am sorry to have to bring this to you, I am sure that you have more important things to do and worry about.
But, I am tired of arguing with people about sub names. I have a client that is insistent that they want the Name
"Skyranch"for a subdivision. Is there anything that we can do to get this approved?

Good afternoon Mr. Beagley,
Subdivision names have to be real words or proper names.
Using an internet search 'Skyranch' gets no responses and we would not consider it a proper name, it is therefore being
denied as a subdivision name.
'Sky Ranch' is the return but the name 'Sky' has already been recorded and therefore it could also not be used.
Please choose a different name.

A link is also included below to a search function on the Ada County Surveyors website which will assist you in weeding
out names that cannot be reserved.The search is more accurate if fewer words are used in the search for a primary
name. Rule of thumb is that if you can find the primary name, chances are that it cannot be used.
