Subject: Kodiak Collector Street
Dear Mayor DeWeerd,
We just learned that the Kodiak Collector Street was approved by the Meridian Planning and Zoning
Commission on September 21,2006. We find this totally unacceptable!!
The new road will endanger the many small children living here, dramatically increase the traffic
through Bear Creek and decrease the value of our homes.
The existing traffic signals are adequate to handle the traffic on Meridian Road, Victory Road and
Stoddard. The Kodiak Connector Street would make the neighborhood unsafe for children.
As an elected official, please reconsider your decision BEFORE A CHaD IS KaLED!!
Sincerely,
Terry and Shelia Hunnicutt

Subject: Shepherd's Creek Development
Dear Mayor DeWeerd,
The proposed Shepherd's Creek Development high density housing, 8 houses per acre, is not appropriate
for this area. This proposed development would lower property values for the surrounding
developments, Strada Bellissima and Bear Creek.
The Strada Bellissima and Bear Creek developments are large upscale homes with an average density of
2.5 homes per acre. Nothing less than 4 houses per acre should be considered for the Shepherd's Creek
Development.
As elected officials please consider the desires of the residents of the surrounding areas rather than the
greed of the developers.
Sincerely,
Terry and Shelia Hunnicutt
