BY THE CITY COUNCIL: CAVENER,LITTLE ROBERTS, OVERTON,
STRADER, TAYLOR,WHITLOCK
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN
APPOINTING SAM RUST TO SEAT 7 OF THE MERIDIAN PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Meridian City Code 2-1-1 establishes the Meridian Planning and Zoning
Commission, its members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, Seat 7 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission is currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems the appointment of Sam Rust to
Seat 7 of the Planning and Zoning Commission to be in the best interest of the Meridian Planning and
Zoning Commission and of the City of Meridian.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-1-1, Sam Rust is hereby appointed to Seat
7 of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission, with a term expiring January 31, 2026.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this loth day of September,
2024.
