CenturyLink of Idaho, Inc. d/b/a CENTURYLINK("CenturyLink") has reviewed the request
for the subject vacation and has determined that it has no objections with respect to the
areas proposed for vacation as shown and/or described on Exhibit "A", said Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated by this reference.
It is the intent and understanding of CenturyLink that this Vacation shall not reduce our
rights to any other existing easement or rights we have on this site or in the area.
This vacation response is submitted WITH THE STIPULATION that if CenturyLink
facilities are found and/or damaged within the vacated area as described, the Applicant
will bear the cost of relocation and repair of said facilities.

Good morning Kyle,
Please forward to the City of Meridian.
The Oaks North PI system is privately owned and operated,the PI easement platted in this development should not be
associated with Settlers Irrigation District.
Settlers does not oppose the request to vacate the side lot PI easement located on LT 3 &4 BILK 25. If there is PI located
within said easement, please submit requests to the governing easement operator.
• My question to the City of Meridian is, If the PI is located in the side lot PUC, what is the reason for requiring a
request to vacate an easement if the vacation of the easement does not relinquish the side lot PUC?

you gave me for the easement vacation request, I know Settlers doesn't have jurisdiction over the PI easement, but the
City would like to see your approval for this one as well.

Subject: Relinquishment of Public Utility Easement Lot 3, Block 25 of The Oaks North
Subdivision No. 5 Ada County, ID
Dear Kyle:
This is in response to the relinquishment request submitted to Idaho Power Company and
received in our office March 12, 2024, regarding the possible partial relinquishment of a public
utility easement (PUE) located as noted above. The attached Exhibits A & B more specifically
identifies the requested area for relinquishment due to a pending lot line adjustment.
Idaho Power's review of your request indicated that we do have facilities located within the
requested area. However, Idaho Power agrees to relinquish our interest in the PUE that runs
along the interior lot line of lots 3 &4 Block 25, in order to adjust the lot line boundary and the
PUE between the lots., as shown in Exhibit A.
Thank you once again for providing Idaho Power Company the opportunity to review and
comment upon the subject petition for relinquishment.
