Hello,
I'm a resident in the Jackson Square neighborhood adjacent to the proposed Centerpoint Apartments. I wanted to
provide a written statement in opposition to these being approved for additional units (215 to 295). Mostly due to the
increase in traffic, you're adding 1-2 cars per household (possibly more) that is 430 minimum new cars on the surface
streets in this area. We already have an issue with ingress and egress with people bypassing the Eagle/Ustick
intersection in our neighborhood.
Since the council has already conditionally approved the 215 units, IF any increase is approved, it should come with
additional impact fees to the developer to account for the increased traffic and potential need for emergency services
and schools.
I also had a question regarding the height requirements of the building. Is it zoned for only 3 story buildings and was it
conditionally approved for something higher?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
