Dear Meridian City Council, We are writing to strongly oppose the proposed 2024 amendment to the Timber Creek Recycling Facility agreement. As residents of 6677 S. Zenith Ave at the Pinnacle Community, we live near Timber Creek and we’re deeply concerned about the changes that would allow Timber Creek to continue operations beyond the original ten-year limit. This extension, along with the expansion of acceptable materials, the addition of on-site retail activities, and the removal of the truck load limit, poses significant risks to our community through increased environmental concerns, traffic, and odors. We urge the City Council to enforce the original ten-year operational limit and reject any amendments that would extend Timber Creek's operations beyond this period. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Dinko & Belma Miljkovic 1
