Subject:Urgent Feedback on Timber Creek Recycling Facility Amendment
External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments.
Dear Meridian City Council,
I am writing to strongly oppose the proposed 2024 amendment to the Timber Creek Recycling Facility
agreement. As a Pinnacle Community resident of 6671 S. Zenith Ave, I live near Timber Creek and I am
deeply concerned about the changes that would allow Timber Creek to continue operations beyond the
original ten-year limit. This extension, along with the expansion of acceptable materials, the addition of on-
site retail activities, and the removal of the truck load limit, poses significant risks to our community
through increased environmental concerns, traffic, and odors. I urge the City Council to enforce the
original ten-year operational limit and reject any amendments that would extend Timber Creek's
operations beyond this period. For further discussion, I am available at 843-425-8809.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Jason Lamp
