RE: McKAY FARM SUBDIVISION—2nd Time Extension Request
Dear Mr. Hood:
The McKay Farm Subdivision preliminary plat (H-2020-0030) located at 5875 S. Eagle Rd was
approved by City Council on June 23, 2020. The plat was granted a time extension (TED-2022-
0002) in June 2022 by the Director which extended the prior approvals to June 23, 2024.
Since the original approval, we have been waiting for the neighboring developer, Boise Hunter
Homes, to bring the underground infrastructure through their project and to our property. The
rule of bringing infrastructure to and through is not being upheld by the neighboring developer
nor the City of Meridian in this scenario. To date, Boise Hunter Homes has intentionally not
developed their final phase to keep us from developing our plat.
Due to this continued delay, we need to request a second 24 month time extension.
