The December3, 2002 City Council agenda includes a time .fOI" appl"oval of planning
and zoning recommendations relative to a I"equest from Cherry Lane Christian
Chul"ch for a series of city approvaIs. We have accepted the P&Z
recommendations.

However, subsequent to tbe P&Z bearing, webave been unable tOl"e!lcb agneinent
witb the Nampa-Meridian Irrigation Company, ACHD, and more specifically tbe
Corps of Al"my Engineers about covering a portion of the Nine-mile ditcb.W e .
. recognized from theol.ltset.that tbis would bea difficult tasktoobtain everyone's
approvaL At tbis time, we would like. to put tbis portion oftheP&Z
recommendations on bold and let us rel;onsidel" tbe ditcb covering option. Very
