Subject:Ten Mile Zoning Changes

Dear City Council,
I am writing because I am NOT in favor of changing the zoning from Mixed Use Commercial to High Density Residential
on the corner of Franklin of Ten Mile Road.
I am opposed to these changes not only for the changes in traffic patterns it would bring to this area, but we, as a
community, seem to be over focusing on residential without thought to the support of businesses to assist a community.
School Bonds are not passing to build more schools for the increase of High Density Areas. This is a sad situation. We
already have several High Density Areas currently under construction in the 10 mile radius area. Let these areas fill up
first before building more. Saturate an area before opening up more. Let businesses thrive in an easily accessible area
for trucks and commence while allowing SOME cool “over business apartments” to be built, like downtown.
MIXED USE COMMERCIAL is the BEST option for this area.
Thank you for your consideration in keeping things as they are.
Regards,
Nicole Stephenson
