Hello, my name is Joe Leahy and I live in the ten mile/franklin area. I would like to express my opposition to
the plans to zone for more apartments. We have already begun to dramatically change the character of
Meridian and quality of life, by increasing traffic, crowding, removal of open space and blocking the skyline
views. Also, often with an increase in condensed population eventually comes an increase in litter, and crime.
Many Meridian residents, myself included, moved from crowded cities to escape this very thing and we do not
want to turn meridian into a crowded congested city. Please build out not up. Please consider this comment
and vote no on the upcoming zoning decision.
